Before Christmas, we went to the Seven Stories Museum – the National Centre for Children’s Books in Newcastle. I highly recommend this – beautifully presented Exhibitions of original art work and writing. A floor was dedicated to Michael Morpurgo, a fascinating insight into his ‘Lifetime in Stories’. It’s a wonderful place to take children – lots to do – but I went as an artist to see the artwork and original scripts/ideas etc. Well worth a visit for all ages!
